The new UEFN editor has been released, and the developers of Suburban Split have statements to share regarding the future of the project:
From Nickz: "Hey all! You may be wondering "hmm where's that Nick guy at". Rest assured I am still actively working on 'Suburban Split!' as we speak, but due to 'UEFN' also known as Creative 2.0 is coming out this Wednesday. My plan is to bring Suburban Split! to UEFN and upgrade it as much as I possibly can. I am very excited to bring the content and ideas that i have planned for the map, but i think i could maximise its quality due to 2.0's extensive software. So all i can ask is for you guys just to sit tight for a little while longer, I will get a discord up and running when i drop content next. I hope you can understand the situation im in, and im sure you can relate aswell due to how massive 2.0 is and how much we creators may need to adjust, but i can't thank you enough for the continued support. It gives me an unspeakable amount of joy to watch you have fun. See you inside the Splitzone, trooper."
From Jakus: "With the release of UEFN I will no longer be co-developing Suburban Split. Nickz will be the sole developer and will continue to update the game as he sees fit. My role is complete; I helped bring his vision to life within Creative 1.0 but now it's his turn to take control and shine. When Suburban Split 2.0 releases, the version released under my name will be renamed Suburban Split Legacy and may be delisted in future."
