SAVE THE VERSE: DECEMBER 2024 DEV UPDATE

Hey squad,

It's been a good few months since our first major Development Update for Snapshots: Save the Verse, so we wanted to share what we've been up to before the end of the year.

IMPROVED MOVEMENT

We've iterated on the movement and feel of the game based on your feedback and our shifting vision, and we'd like for you to take a look at the latest version, from our latest development build:

The original camera controls we shared in our June 2024 blogpost will be available as an opt-in setting, for a more arcade-like experience!

Please note that this is footage from a developer-only build, and features and locations seen in this footage may not appear in the final game.

BATTLE ROYALE HUD CHANGES

You may have spotted the unique HUD in the above video. In a future release, we will be updating the Battle Royale HUD to be more in-line with that of Save the Verse, to match our vision of keeping the two game experiences co-hesive.

CALL FOR ARTISTS!

Lastly: we want to hire YOU! (If you're an artist, that is.) We are looking to hire 2D and 3D Artists to work on Loading Screen artwork for Save the Verse! Hit us up if you're experienced and interested in creating a piece for us.

We're still working to deliver Save the Verse in 2025. Right now, the core goals are to make this grand experience feel uniquely creative and worth playing, but still feel at home in this ecosystem.
