Today we're announcing that content update support for Primal Peak Gun Game ends after June 9, 2023. We understand that this will be disappointing to many questions so this blog sets out to explain the decision.
WHY END SUPPORT?
Simply put; Primal Peak was not intended to be updated this long. We continued to add new features and change the gameplay flow as more resources became available to us, but this means that the game has taken resources away from more important projects, and has strayed from its initial vision.
Primal Peak was developed in a weekend and was always intended to be a one-off small project. It will remain available in the future but won't receive any major content updates going forward.
WHAT HAPPENS ON JUNE 9?
On June 9 there will be significant backend changes made to Primal Peak. No content update will release but the way the game functions will be significantly different. This is an update that has been in development since October 2022 and we will be monitoring it to ensure it functions as intended.
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
Primal Peak is now done. We are working on new experiences all the time but we are not working on any significant updates or follow-ups to Primal Peak Gun Game.
